Here’s another complete performance of the opera, but this time in a more ‘historically accurate’ staging, conducted, at the Salzburg Festival in 1987, by that stalwart of German classics, Herbert von Karajan.

- The Don’s serenade (with mandolin accompaniment): Deh, vieni alla finestra.
- Giovanni, disguised as Leporello, misdirects a lynch mob: Metà di voi qua vadano.
- Masetto, having been beaten up by the Don, is consoled by Zerlina: Vedrai carino.
- The sextet (Donna Elvira, Masetto, Donna Anna, Don Octavio, Zerlina & Masetto): Sola, sola in buio loco.
