The catalogue of Mozart’s music lists 27 piano concertos of which 21 are original works for solo piano and orchestra. Amongst the most famous of these are the d-minor Concerto (No. 20, K. 466 written in 1785) and the A-major Concerto (No. 23, K. 488, written in 1786), both of which we’ve already (partially) listened to and looked at. This is an opportunity to hear both pieces in their splendid entirety:
0:57 – Allegro
15:42 – Romance
24:38 – Allegro assai
