The two pieces, together with Peter Reynolds’ wind quintet (The Silver Apples of the Moon) and two works by Mervyn Burtch (another woodwind quintet and Four Portraits from Alice in Wonderland for solo flute), are given a fine performance by Eos Ensemble Cymru; the recording is issued on the Tŷ Cerdd [Welsh Music Information Centre] label.
